Agent: 'Ashley Williams focused on Swansea City challenge'

The agent of Swansea City's Ashley Williams has insisted that the defender is fully focused on keeping the club in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old, who has just over a year left to run on his current deal, has been linked with a move to both Arsenal and Napoli of late.

"Let's be clear, all Ashley is focused on at the moment is keeping Swansea City in the Premier League," the player's agent, Jamie Moralee, is quoted as saying by the South Wales Evening Post.

"He is not thinking about anything else and he wouldn't let me think about anything else. His future is not important at the moment. The main thing is Swansea staying up, and no player in their dressing room will give more to make sure that happens than Ashley.

"But once Swansea are safe and we get to the end of the season, I am sure there will be conversations about where his future lies."

Swansea are currently 15th in the Premier League table, six points above the relegation zone.
