Preview: Swansea City vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace will be hoping to put more distance between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone when they travel to Swansea City on Saturday.

The Eagles climbed to 15th in the table with a come-from-behind triumph over Liverpool last weekend - a result which ended their five-match winless run.

However, they have yet to register successive victories this season ahead of their trip to Wales.

The Swans strung together four wins in a row at the start of the campaign, but have since struggled to match those standards on a regular basis.

The standings still look rosy for Garry Monk's men as they sit within one point of the Champions League places ahead of winnable home fixtures against Palace and Queens Park Rangers in the next week.

Wilfried Bony has five goals in his last six Premier League games and will lead the City attack at the Liberty Stadium, with Gylfi Sigurdsson offering support against the club who failed to sign him for Tony Pulis.

Former Eagles winger Wayne Routledge and Federico Fernandez are still missing for the hosts through injury, so Nathan Dyer and Kyle Bartley will continue on the right and in central defence respectively.

Jonjo Shelvey was left on the bench in favour of Tom Carroll in the 2-1 loss to Manchester City last Saturday, but should return after the Tottenham Hotspur loanee's mistake led to the winning goal.

Neil Warnock lost Damien Delaney to a muscle strain in the first half of their 3-1 success over the Reds at Selhurst Park. Brede Hangeland will again deputise, with Adrian Mariappa still on the treatment table.

All three goalscorers from last weekend - Mile Jedinak, Joe Ledley and Dwight Gayle - should start, as should man-of-the-match Yannick Bolasie, whose performances are keeping Wilfried Zaha on the bench.

Swansea are unbeaten in their last six games against Palace, but could only draw 1-1 at home last term.
