Angel Rangel says that the next three games are crucial if Swansea City are to move further up the Premier League table.

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel believes that his side's next three games are crucial if they are to move up the table.

The Welsh outfit currently sit 10th in the Premier League ahead of upcoming games with Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal.

The Swans are unbeaten in their last four matches, however Rangel is adamant that Swansea need to get more points on the board.

"We know next week we have three big games and we can put ourselves in a great position," said Rangel. "Our performances were good against Manchester City and Chelsea but, being realistic, we only had two points from the three games [including Southampton].

"But when you can get a surprise win at Newcastle, all of a sudden it's five points from four games and that sets us up for two home games.

"It's very important we get points at home, the away wins are a bonus, but the most important thing is the home form and we have been doing okay."

Swansea host Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
