Swansea City manager Garry Monk is determined not to let his side's season fade into nothingness as they prepare for this evening's trip to face West Bromwich Albion.
Despite a recent shaky spell which saw the Swans take just six points from a possible 18 on offer, the Welsh outfit are still on course to beat their previous best Premier League points haul of 47 set in 2012.
A place in Europe may be asking too much of Swansea, although Monk, who recently celebrated one year in charge at the Liberty Stadium, wants to instil a winning mentality into his players in order to finish as high as possible in the league table.
"It's important that we don't let the season fizzle out," he told reporters. "European football is not an aim for me, it's just trying to target those games. Let's go on a big push this month and see where we end up and then we have a realistic chance of reassessing where we are going to be."
Swansea follow up tonight's trip to the Midlands with fixtures against Manchester United and Burnley before the end of the month.
