Monk: 'No pressure on Bony'

Swansea City boss Garry Monk is refusing to put pressure on Wilfried Bony to end his scoring drought.

The Ivorian netted 25 goals for the Swans in his debut season last term, but is yet to find the target this campaign.

However, Monk stressed that he is not placing the responsibility on any one individual to fire his team's goals.

BBC Sport quotes the Swans boss as saying: "I don't put pressure on players, it's about the contribution.

"It's good the goals are spread out. It's good for strikers to score, but we don't need to put pressure on.

"They're good characters and it won't be long before they're scoring again."

Monk's side travel to Sunderland on Saturday.
