Garry Monk has admitted that Swansea City's inability to go on a good run of form has caused him a lot of frustration.
Swansea have not won two matches in a row since December 2012, but Monk's side will have the opportunity to break that record when they host Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
"If you want to do things properly and go forward as a club that sort of stat can't happen," Monk, who saw his team beat Newcastle United 2-1 last weekend, told reporters.
"A lot of stats get put out there and I don't buy into all of them. But this one is massive.
"It is something we have to improve upon and we get that opportunity against Villa."
Swansea are currently 13th with three games remaining in their season.
