Swansea City manager Garry Monk has revealed that the club's own targets will ensure that they do all they can to finish the season in positive fashion.
With six games remaining, the Welsh outfit have equalled their best-ever points tally in the Premier League, but ahead of their visit to Leicester City, Monk has insisted that their intensity won't drop as they look to remain in eighth position in the standings.
The 36-year-old told the club's official website: "Getting level with the points total is great, but I want to beat it. It was a target we talked about at the start of the season.
"We've progressed throughout the season, and we now have six games to surpass our best ever total. A lot of people will say Leicester have more to fight for than us, but we've got our own targets to fight for. We want to finish strongly."
Monk has won 21 of his 55 games in charge of the Swans since being appointed as the club's manager in February 2014.
