Laudrup eases Chico injury fears

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has calmed worries over the fitness of Chico Flores by claiming that the defender should only be sidelined for a "couple of days".

The Spaniard was forced off the field with an ankle problem during the Swans' 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday following a lengthy absence with ankle ligament damage.

"Chico got a kick," Sky Sports News quotes Laudrup as saying. "It was the same foot so he was a little worried but it's not so bad. He should be ready in a couple of days."

The defender picked up his original injury in February.
