Chico Flores unlikely to be fit for League Cup final?

Swansea City defender Chico Flores will reportedly be unable to overcome an ankle injury in time for the League Cup final against Bradford.

Swansea City are reportedly expected to be without defender Chico Flores for the League Cup final on Sunday.

The Welsh Premier League outfit take on League Two side Bradford City at Wembley this weekend for the first piece of silverware up for grabs in the domestic season.

Flores has been out of action for the Swans since picking up an ankle injury during his side's 4-1 win over Queens Park Rangers almost a fortnight ago.

While manager Michael Laudrup is expected to make a late call on the centre-back's fitness, it is unlikely that the Spaniard will be fit in time for kickoff, according to The Express.

Captain Garry Monk and Kyle Bartley are potential replacements for Flores.
