Half-Time Report: Swansea City and Sunderland goalless at the break

Sunderland are holding Swansea City to a 0-0 draw at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

The bottom side nearly had the lead when Steven Fletcher fired a low shot across the goal with his favoured left foot after 12 minutes.

Dutch midfielder Jonathan de Guzman nearly marked his recall to the side with a 30-yard goal, but his bending free kick was flew just wide of Kieren Westwood's goal just after the half-hour mark.

The home side had another shot from distance minutes later, with Angel Rangel firing straight at Westwood.
