Simon Mignolet courted by Napoli?

Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has reportedly attracted the interest of Serie A giants Napoli as the Belgian's stock continues to rise.

Mignolet has been a consistent performer on Wearside this season, helping Sunderland fight against relegation with a series of impressive displays.

That form has seen Napoli enter the race for his signature and they are considering a summer offer for the shot-stopper, according to talkSPORT.

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri wants competition for veteran keeper Morgan de Sanctis next season as his side prepare for a return to the Champions League.

Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Mignolet as they bid to strengthen a position currently occupied by Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski.
