Ji Dong-Won joins Augsburg on loan

Sunderland striker Ji Dong-Won has joined Augsburg on loan for the remainder of the season.

It has been a year to the day since the 21-year-old scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Manchester City, but he has yet to make an appearance in this campaign.

The South Korean passed a medical today and will now link up with the German side, who are struggling at the foot of the Bundesliga.

His international teammate Koo Ja-Cheol is also on loan at Augsburg.
