Agent: 'Adilson Cabral nearing Sunderland exit'

The agent of Adilson Cabral has revealed that the Sunderland midfielder is close to joining Genoa on loan.

The 25-year-old has made just two competitive appearances for the Black Cats this season after joining the club from Basel in the summer.

"We are speaking to Genoa after being given permission by Sunderland," Walter Fernandez told Sky Sports News. "We hope to have more news soon and maybe we could have a medical soon."

It is understood that Genoa are keen on making any deal for Cabral a permanent one in the future.
