Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Premier League meeting between Sunderland and Reading at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland and Reading catch up with the rest of the Premier League pack on Tuesday as they play their game in hand at the Stadium of Light.

The original fixture was called off on August 25 due to a waterlogged pitch.

While the two teams may have been full of optimism four months ago, they now find themselves in the relegation zone after 15 matches.

The Black Cats are still without top scorer Steven Taylor, while John O'Shea is a doubt after picking up a calf problem during Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Chelsea.

Jimmy Kebe could be in line for a recall for the Royals following a groin injury.

Recent form:

Sunderland: LWLDLL

Reading: DWLLLL

Possible lineups:

Sunderland: Mignolet; Bardsley, Cuellar, Bramble, Rose; Larsson, Gardner, Johnson, McClean; Sessegnon, Wickham

Reading: Federici; Shorey, Mariappa, Morrison, Cummings; Leigertwood, McAnuff, Tabb, Robson-Kanu; Le Fondre, Roberts

Sports Mole says: 1-2
