QPR will look to build on their remarkable 3-2 win against Liverpool in midweek when they face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Struggling Queens Park Rangers pulled off one of the most remarkable results of the season on Wednesday when they came from 2-0 down to beat Liverpool 3-2 at Loftus Road.

Manager Mark Hughes will ask his players for more of the same on Saturday as they meet Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

However, the Black Cats will be going out to claim the three points as they still entertain faint hopes of European football.

Injured pair Kieran Richardson and Wes Brown could be in line for recalls for Sunderland, while John O'Shea may return after missing Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers.

R's striker Djibril Cisse is expected to turn out against his former club, and captain Joey Barton should also start, despite boos from his own fans in midweek.

Current form:

Sunderland: WLLDWL
QPR: LLLDLW

Possible lineups:

Sunderland: Mignolet; Bardsley, Turner, O'Shea, Bridge; Larsson, Gardner, Vaughan, McClean; Campbell, Bendtner

QPR: Kenny; Taiwo, Young, Ferdinand, Onuoha; Diakite, Derry, Taarabt, Barton; Cisse, Zamora

Sports Mole says: 2-0
