Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul relishing Everton challenge

Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul believes that his side are capable of building on their victory over Newcastle United in their clash against Everton.

Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul has revealed that he is relishing the challenge of facing Everton at Goodison Park.

The Black Cats secured their first win of the Premier League season last week when they defeated bitter rivals Newcastle United 3-0 at the Stadium of Light, lifting them off the bottom of the table.

Kaboul believes that his side are more than capable of building on their victory, despite the talent the Toffees have at their disposal.

He told the club's official website: "When you come in on Monday morning everyone has a smile on their face and it's like you've had a big vitamin C. Everyone was delighted but now we need to focus on the next game.

"It is going to be a tough game because Goodison Park is a tough place to go, but after the derby game we're confident and we hope to have a good result there.

"We like the challenge and they [Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and Gerard Deulofeu] are the types of players you want to play against all the time. We're looking forward to it."

Sunderland have won on their last two trips to Goodison Park.
