Sunderland boss David Moyes fumes that West Ham United's late winner in Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash was offside.

Sunderland boss David Moyes has insisted that West Ham United's late winner in Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash at the London Stadium should have been disallowed.

It did appear that the struggling Black Cats had done enough to secure a point in the capital, but Winston Reid netted in the fourth minute of stoppage time to secure all the points for West Ham.

Moyes, however, has insisted that the home side's goal was offside due to Hammers forward Jonathan Calleri standing in front of Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford inside the crowded penalty box.

"It was offside. It should be given offside. The referee thinks it is onside. You can tell by the referee's movement to the linesman that he is not sure, they weren't sure but it was not a goal," Moyes told BBC Sport.

Winless Sunderland remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table on just two points.
