Dick Advocaat not thinking about permanent Sunderland job

Advocaat not thinking about permanent role

New Sunderland head coach Dick Advocaat has admitted that he has not thought about possibly taking the job on a permanent basis.

The Dutchman was appointed as the Black Cats boss until the end of the season following the sacking of Gus Poyet on Monday.

When asked by Sky Sports News if he is thinking about staying beyond this season, Advocaat said: "We're only focused until the end of the season, and that matters now, all the other things are not so important now."

Sunderland are just one point above relegation in the Premier League.
