Stoke City are reportedly not giving up on trying to sign Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole.
The Black Cats have maintained that Cattermole is staying put following interest from the Potters, but Stoke have improved their offer in a bid to secure his signature.
According to Sky Sports News, Stoke have offered more money up front to Sunderland ahead of tonight's 11pm transfer deadline.
Reports have claimed that Stoke also feel that they could swing the deal following Sunderland's capture of Liam Bridcutt from Brighton & Hove Albion.
