Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Wilson Palacios on loan?

Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly approached Stoke City in a bid to sign Wilson Palacios on loan.

The Honduras international joined the Potters from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2011, but has made just 38 appearances for the club since then.

According to reports in the midfielder's homeland, new Seagulls manager Chris Hughton is keen to add experienced players in central midfield and has identified the 30-year-old as an option for the Championship strugglers.

Palacios captained his national side at last summer's World Cup in Brazil.
