Nicklas Bendtner in talks with Stoke

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been in talks with Stoke, according to Sky Sports News.

His father and agent, Thomas, has reportedly been at Stoke this morning discussing a deal.

The 23-year-old stated earlier this month that he wanted regular football away from the Emirates.

He has been linked with numerous clubs this summer but it seems that the Potters are in prime position to secure the Dane's signature.

Bendtner has made only one appearance for the Gunners this season and the imminent signing of Park Chu-Young is likely to push the Dane further down the pecking order.
