Barrow loan Stoke City youngster

Stoke City have allowed defender Ryan O'Reilly to move to Barrow on a one-month loan deal.

The National League club have selection problems at the back, with George Williams and Steve Williams both unavailable for Saturday's home fixture with Torquay United.

That could result in O'Reilly, a former Republic of Ireland Under-17 international, immediately being drafted into the starting lineup as Barrow look to move further away from the relegation zone.

O'Reilly has spent the opening three months of the season featuring for Stoke in their Premier League Under-21 matches.
