Sorensen signs new Stoke deal

Danish goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has revealed that he has signed a new contract with Stoke City.

The 35-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season but he has now committed his future to the club until 2013.

"Just signed a new contract this morning," the veteran keeper wrote on Twitter. "Proud to be a Potter for another 2 1/2 years."

Sorensen joined the Potters in 2008 from fellow Premier League club Aston Villa.
