Stoke City's Robert Huth suspended for two games in relation to Twitter comments

Huth suspended for two games

The Football Association has issued Stoke City defender Robert Huth with a two-match suspension after breaching rules regarding social media comments.

The 30-year-old was charged earlier this month for replying to a Twitter account called 'Cock Or No Cock', which asks followers to guess the gender of the people they post photos of.

Huth, who was also fined £15,000, admitted to breaching FA rules with his comments, which were deemed "indecent and/or improper and/or brought the game into disrepute".

A statement from the FA said: "It was considered an "Aggravated Breach" as defined in Rule E3(2), as it included a reference to gender and/or gender reassignment."

Huth will also complete a mandatory education course.
