Crouch faces 'eye gouge' charge

Peter Crouch could face a three-game ban if the FA decide to charge him over an alleged eye-gouging incident.

The FA have chosen to review TV footage of the striker and Jonas Olsson during Stoke City's 2-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Television replays appeared to show Crouch making contact with Olsson's eye area.

Referee Anthony Taylor did not punish Crouch for the incident at the time.
