The Pole, who was beaten by a wind-assisted punt in the first minute of the 1-1 draw, has vowed to bounce back from the mishap and help his side make up the two points dropped.
"I don't want to remember it anymore. I blame the wind for that. I'm really sorry for my teammates and our supporters but what can I say? What happens, happens and I need to bounce back. I promise to get those two points back," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"These kinds of things happen to goalkeepers. It has happened before and will happen again. That's the life of being a goalkeeper, it is not always beautiful. I look forward to the next game."
Jay Rodriguez netted Southampton's equaliser minutes before half time.
