Half-Time Report: No goals in Stoke at half-time

The half-time whistle has sounded at the Britannia Stadium following a very subdued opening 45 minutes between Stoke City and Sunderland.

The Black Cats, who have now failed to score a first-half goal in their last five matches, have yet to register a shot on target today.

In fact, Ryan Shawcross is the only player that has hit the target so far.

The Potters captain forced a decent save out of Simon Mignolet from close range on 22 minutes, after the Belgian stopper had punched away Charlie Adam's whipped free kick.
