Peter Hartley completes Stevenage switch

Stevenage have signed defender Peter Hartley from Hartlepool United for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old leaves Victoria Park following a four-year spell.

"I'm delighted to be here and I'm looking forward to getting my head down," Hartley told the League One club's official website.

"The training ground here is different class, the attention to detail in and around the club is brilliant and I can't wait to get going."

Hartley began his career with Sunderland in 2006 before going on to join Hartlepool.
