Michel Vorm "very happy" at Tottenham Hotspur

Second-choice Spurs goalkeeper Michel Vorm insists that he is happy at the club amid reports that he told a newspaper otherwise.

Michel Vorm has rubbished reports linking him with a summer move away from Tottenham Hotspur.

The goalkeeper was thought to be frustrated in North London after playing second fiddle to Hugo Lloris for much of the season.

Speculation was rife that the 31-year-old wanted to leave after quotes emerged in a newspaper on Sunday, but the Dutchman has stressed that he is "very happy" at Spurs.

Vorm took to Twitter to clarify the situation, writing: "Please ignore quotes from me in the paper today. I didn't say any of that, very happy at Spurs, big game today."

The article in question has since been removed from its website.
