Tottenham Hotspur reach agreement with Valencia for Roberto Soldado

Spurs agree Soldado deal

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that they have reached an agreement with Valencia for the signing of striker Roberto Soldado.

The North London outfit have been working on a deal to bring the 28-year-old to White Hart Lane, as they try to strengthen their attacking options for the 2013-14 season.

The Premier League club announced on their official website that Soldado will become a Spurs player if he successfully completes a medical.

While the fee has been kept under wraps, reports have claimed that Spurs have reached the striker's release clause, believed to be around £26.3m.
