Danny Rose is reportedly expected to miss out on a place in Tottenham Hotspur's squads for the remainder of 2020.
Having spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle United, the defender has been back in North London with his future still to be decided.
The England international was unable to find a new club before the end of Monday's transfer deadline, casting further doubt on the player's role over the coming months.
However, the Daily Mail claims that Jose Mourinho has no intention of reintegrating the 30-year-old back into his senior group of players.
The report says that Rose will not be selected in the squads for the Premier League and Europa League respectively, effectively ruling him out of all but one match before the end of the year.
Rose may have to consider a short-term transfer to a Championship side to gain first-team football until January.
