Report: Tottenham Hotspur launch Pierre-­Emerick Aubameyang bid

Tottenham Hotspur are poised to launch a bid to sign Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-­Emerick Aubameyang.

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is looking to add at least two strikers to his side this summer and has set his sights on the 23-year-old.

Bids for Christian Benteke and Leandro Damiao have stalled, and have led the Portuguese to the Gabon international, who he hopes to capture in a £10m deal, reports The Mirror.

Aubameyang scored 19 goals in 37 appearances for Saint-Etienne last season.
