Report: Atletico Madrid target Ezequiel Lavezzi

A report claims that Atletico Madrid want to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.

The Argentine is widely expected to depart the French champions at the end of the season and Tottenham Hotspur were believed to be the favourites.

However, according to The Sun, Atletico have risen to the head of the queue after making their interest in the 29-year-old known.

Lavezzi, who has also been linked with a move to Italy, has only scored four times for PSG this term and has been reduced to a bit-part role in recent months.

Atletico are expected to splash the clash this summer in an attempt to launch another title challenge next season.
