Alex Pritchard in talks over long-term Tottenham Hotspur deal?

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to have held discussions with Alex Pritchard over a new four-year contract.

The 22-year-old has starred on loan at Brentford this season, scoring 12 goals to help them defy expectations and reach the Championship playoffs.

Mauricio Pochettino has been unafraid to put his faith in Tottenham's youngsters, and Sky Sports News claims that the Spurs boss wants to use Pritchard alongside the likes of Harry Kane and Ryan Mason next campaign.

The England Under-21 international's White Hart Lane contract expires in the summer of 2016, and Spurs would reportedly like to tie him down to a new long-term deal before making him a bona fide member of their first-team squad.

Pritchard made his Tottenham debut as a substitute in their final-day win over Aston Villa last season.
