Paulo Gazzaniga in talks over Tottenham Hotspur exit?

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga could reportedly link up with Elche before the end of the transfer window.

Gazzaniga has not made a single first-team appearance for Spurs since Joe Hart was brought in as backup to captain Hugo Lloris.

According to the Daily Mail, Elche are interested in securing a deal for the 29-year-old on Monday.

Gazzaniga is said to welcome the opportunity of a fresh start after not representing the senior side in 11 months.

However, Gazzaniga would face competition for a regular role at Elche, with the Spanish side conceding just 26 goals in 19 matches in La Liga.

Despite being an ever-present between the sticks, Edgar Badia has gone eight matches without keeping a clean sheet.
