Simon Dawkins has revealed that he wants to stay at Aston Villa beyond the end of the season.
The 25-year-old forward joined the Premier League strugglers on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in January for the rest of the campaign.
"I hope I can have an impact here with Aston Villa," Dawkins told the club's official website.
"I'm still learning but I'd like to make as much impact as possible. I would definitely like to stay here beyond the end of the season."
Dawkins has made three appearances for Villa following his move from Spurs.
