David Bentley to make Blackburn Rovers return?

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder David Bentley has been linked with a surprise return to Blackburn Rovers.

The 28-year-old has recently been on loan with Russian side Rostov, but he is believed to be interested in a move back to England.

Blackburn could now take the former England international on loan for the rest of the season with the possibility of a permanent switch, according to the Daily Mail.

Bentley left Rovers for Tottenham in 2008 following a successful two-year spell at Ewood Park.
