AC Milan are reportedly contemplating whether to make a formal approach for Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga.
The 22-year-old is enjoying a productive period in the Spurs backline, making a total of five appearances since Boxing Day.
However, regardless of seemingly making a positive impression on head coach Antonio Conte, Sky Sports News claims that Tanganga has concerns regarding his long-term future.
The report claims that the versatile defender feels that he may drop down to the substitutes' bench once Eric Dier and Cristian Romero have returned from injury.
At a time when they are keen to bring in a new centre-back, Milan are said to be monitoring the situation in the event that Tanganga is made available on loan.
With Milan expected to renew their interest in Lille's Sven Botman in the summer, any deal would almost certainly be a straight loan with no option to buy.
