Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester United

Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Man United

Tottenham Hotspur head into Sunday's encounter against Manchester United looking to end a three-game winless streak in the Premier League.

The recent run has left Jose Mourinho's side in eighth position in the standings, seven points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.

As well as having to contend with a mounting injury list, Mourinho must also find a way to lift his players after their 3-0 defeat at RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's injury and suspension news ahead of welcoming the in-form North-West outfit.

Harry Kane

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Spurs will be without Kane until at least April due to a hamstring injury sustained against Southampton on New Year's Day. However, the England skipper has recently returned to the training pitch.

Moussa Sissoko

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Sissoko also suffered a long-term knee injury against Southampton on New Year's Day, and the midfielder is not expected to return until the back end of next month.

Son Heung-min

Status: Out Type of injury: Arm Possible return date: Unknown

Son is also expected to remain on the sidelines for the majority of the next two months after fracturing his arm during last month's dramatic win at Aston Villa.

Juan Foyth

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: March 15 (vs. Man United)

Foyth has missed the majority of this season through injury, featuring on just seven occasions in all competitions. However, the defender is closing in on a return from a groin injury, and he could potentially be involved at the weekend.

Steven Bergwijn

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Bergwijn faces a battle to play again this season having picked up a "significant sprain" to his left ankle during last weekend's draw with Burnley in the Premier League.

Ben Davies

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: March 20 (vs. West Ham United)

Davies missed out on an appearance on Tuesday due to a hamstring problem. Unless he makes significant progress in his recovery, the Wales international is unlikely to be risked at the weekend.

Davinson Sanchez

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Other Possible return date: March 15 (vs. Man United)

Sanchez was absent from the squad on Tuesday night, reportedly due to a slight injury. As it stands, it appears that the move to rest the Colombia international was a precaution ahead of Sunday's game.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no suspension concerns heading into their next fixture.
