Gareth Bale is not in the Tottenham Hotspur squad for today's match at home to Sunderland.

The Welsh international's place has been taken by Luka Modric, with Sandro coming into the centre of midfield.

Visiting Sunderland have named the same side that defeated Blackburn Rovers last weekend, meaning that Connor Wickham will play up front on his own.
