Sports Mole looks ahead to the Premier League clash between Wigan Athletic and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Wigan Athletic could boost their hopes of securing Premier League survival if they can defeat Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.

The Latics, who have lost their last two games, occupy the final relegation spot. They are three points adrift of 17th-placed Aston Villa, but have a game in hand over the Midlands outfit.

Spurs travel to the DW Stadium requiring three points for very different reasons, as they seek a place in next season's Champions League. Last weekend's 3-1 victory over Manchester City moved them to within a point of fourth-placed Chelsea with five games left to play.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez could name an unchanged lineup from the 2-0 defeat to West Ham United last week, with Callum McManaman and Arouna Kone retaining their places up front.

Andre Villas-Boas could decide to make changes to his Spurs side, with Jermain Defoe in contention to start after coming off the bench to score against City. Emmanuel Adebayor could make way for the striker.
