Kyle Walker: 'Tottenham Hotspur want Fulham revenge'

Kyle Walker says that Tottenham Hotspur want revenge over Fulham after missing out on a Champions League place due to form that stemmed from a defeat last term.

Kyle Walker has expressed his desire to get one back over Fulham on Wednesday night when they host Tottenham Hotspur at Craven Cottage.

Spurs were on course to finish in the top four of the Premier League last season, but a defeat at White Hart Lane in March resulted in a downward spiral of results for the North Londoners that concluded with them missing out on a Champions League place.

"Last season when Fulham came to White Hart Lane they beat us, so we owe them something for that," Walker told the press. "I don't like losing any game, but I think that game was the turning point from last season.

"It will still be difficult. No game is easy. It's a London derby. They are fighting for things just like we are fighting for things.

"We need to dig in like we did against Manchester United on Sunday, show enthusiasm and desire that we want to go out and win and if we do then I think we will get the result."

You can get live coverage of Fulham vs. Tottenham from Craven Cottage with Sports Mole from 7pm tonight.
