Kyle Walker: 'Exciting times for Tottenham Hotspur'

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker says that it is a "pleasure" to play with the club's "exciting" current crop of players.

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker has said that it is a "pleasure" to play in the current Spurs side.

Mauricio Pochettino's men have been tipped by some as dark horses to challenge for the Premier League title this season and are amongst the favourites to clinch a Champions League berth at least.

They currently sit fourth in the table following a 1-1 draw with Everton this afternoon, and while Walker refused to declare the current crop as the best side he has played in, he did speak of his excitement at the future for the club.

"It's a difficult one, but I think it's probably the best team spirit that I have [experienced], with people gelling, knowing where people are going to run," he is quoted as saying by talkSPORT.

"The gaffer and his philosophy is unbelievable but obviously I played with [Gareth] Bale, [Luka] Modric, Azza [Aaron Lennon] was here in his prime and [Emmanuel] Adebayor in his prime.

"I played with some good players but this team is an exciting team and a pleasure to be a part of."

Spurs face a double-header with high-flying Leicester City in their next two games, welcoming the Foxes to White Hart Lane in both the FA Cup and the Premier League.
