Roberto Soldado has promised Tottenham Hotspur supporters that he will produce his best form for the club eventually.
The 28-year-old, who left Valencia in the summer for a then-club record £26m, has endured a mixed first season with Spurs, culminating in the Spaniard missing an open goal in the 1-0 defeat to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the Europa League on Thursday.
"Many thanks for the messages of support," the striker wrote on Instagram. "I am sure that if I had scored my chance we would have won the game.
"I know that the people expect a lot from me and they still haven't seen it yet. I will keep working hard for those people and I will get there."
Soldado has struck five times in 21 Premier League appearances so far this season, four of which have come from the penalty spot.
