Ryan Mason receives late England call

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has been called up to the England squad for tomorrow night's friendly against France.

The 24-year-old has replaced Fabian Delph following confirmation earlier today that the Manchester City player had withdrawn.

Mason has made one previous senior appearance for the Three Lions, which came during a friendly against Italy in March.

A knee complaint has limited Mason to just nine outings in all competitions this term.
