Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has stated that they would need to find a replacement if Roman Pavlyuchenko left the club.
The Russian has been out of favour at White Hart Lane this season, making only two substitute appearances in the league.
"If we let Pav go we'd leave ourselves short. If he decides he wants to go and the club get a good offer then we've got to be ready to replace him from somewhere," said Redknapp.
"I couldn't sit here and say we've got targets. We haven't, but we talk about players all the time."
A swap deal with Marseille for Loic Remy is one of the more recent rumours relating to the 29-year-old but, this proposed deal has been met with criticism from France striker Remy's agent.
