Mauricio Pochettino: 'It is a 10-way Premier League title race'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino claims that any club currently in the top half of the Premier League table have a chance of winning the title this term.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that any team currently in the top half of the Premier League table could win the title this season.

Just three points currently separate league leaders Arsenal from third-placed Manchester City, while Manchester United, who sit sixth, are only nine points off the top of the table with 17 games of the season remaining.

Spurs themselves are just seven points off the summit in fourth and Pochettino has claimed that any team from 10th-placed Watford and above have a realistic chance of winning the title during this unpredictable campaign.

"The Premier League is very tough. It is the hardest league in the world and is very open today. Arsenal, Leicester, City, us, behind us Liverpool, Man United, West Ham. It's a very open league so far, all can happen," Pochettino told reporters.

"All [the teams] who are in the top 10 have the chance to win the league. It's very open. You can't guess. There are a lot of games ahead still to play. All can happen."

Leicester have been the surprise package in the league this season, with Claudio Ranieri's side currently second in the table having lost just two of their 21 league matches this term.
