Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino remains coy when asked whether Arsenal had strengthened or weakened their squad last month.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino remained coy when asked whether Arsenal had strengthened or weakened their squad during the January transfer window.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both arrived at the Emirates Stadium last month, but Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud all left the Gunners.

Pochettino refused to confirm whether he believed Arsenal were now stronger, but the Argentine did call Arsene Wenger's side "one of the best teams in the Premier League" ahead of Saturday's North London derby.

"I cannot say if they look stronger or not. I think Arsenal will be tough to play because they have good quality, talented players and are one of the best teams in the Premier League," Pochettino told reporters.

"And it is the derby and that will be tough for both teams."

Tottenham will enter this weekend's match one place and four points above sixth-placed Arsenal in the Premier League table.
