Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker believes that his side can take positives from their 1-0 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
Walker put through his own net to gift United a narrow victory at Old Trafford, but the full-back has insisted that the own goal was "unlucky" and that his team didn't deserve to lose their opening game of the campaign.
The 25-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We gave them a game today but we just lacked the goals.
"I tried to stick my foot in the way so that he'd kick my foot instead of the ball, so it's a bit unlucky really as I'd made up a lot of ground to get there. We just look onwards and upwards to our next game."
Walker made 15 Premier League appearances for Spurs last season.
