Jamie Carragher: 'Tottenham Hotspur could win Premier League title'

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher claims that Tottenham Hotspur have the credentials to win the Premier League title this season.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have a chance of winning the Premier League title this season.

Carragher's post on social networking site Twitter came within minutes of the final whistle at Watford, where Spurs managed to win 2-1 on Monday afternoon.

That result moved the London team into third position in the table and they are now just three points off the league leaders Leicester City as 2016 approaches.

Carragher thinks that Spurs have the spine needed to seriously challenge for the league crown this season.

Spurs have only been beaten twice in the Premier League this term.
